What's New: Lace Baby Blanket

I've been spending a lot of time during my recovery working on projects that have been neglected for a while!  (I'm embarrassed to admit that among the projects I've been working on I have a few afghans/blankets that have been sitting for quite awhile!)

So in the spirit of getting things done, I thought I'd share some of my newly finished projects with you!

This one is a very simple, lacy-patterned baby blanket that I had in my unfinished projects bin for 2 years...yikes!

I love the way that it turned out, though...and can't believe that I put off finishing it for that long!  It's super soft and so pretty!  The edging is just a simple dc/ch border...and I like it because it sets the lacy pattern of the blanket off nicely.

Here are the stats:

Yarn:  Bernat Baby Coordinates - White

Hook:  Size I (5.50mm)

Finished:  Size: about 28"x36"

Pattern:  This is one I sorta made up myself...I'm planning on posting the pattern here, in the near future...so stay-tuned! :)
